Over 20 Years of Big Ideas in Big Sky Country
In 2002, Will Schmautz, Seth Schmautz, Shane Ackerly, and Clay Binford saw an opportunity to serve and built their first communications trailer in an old barn with a leaky roof. Through an unflinching focus on customer success and a roll-up-the-sleeves, Montana work ethic, the four founders have grown Nomad GCS to its place at the forefront of mobile operations manufacturing.
The four founders, still active in daily operations, have assembled a team of over 200 engineers, craftspeople, and tech experts who have shipped hundreds of specialty vehicles, trailers, and connectivity solutions to delighted customers in all 50 states and internationally.
That old barn? It’s been replaced with state-of-the-art facilities across the country, serving not only manufacturing, but also strategic partnerships, research and development, and the industry’s most responsive Service and Support team.
